Program Offerings

After school Homework Support Program

New Bedford Housing Authority after school homework programs help elementary school- age students focus on the completion of their homework assignments in a quiet, supportive environment. We also provide tutors that help with assignments that the student is struggling with. Computers, printers, resources and materials are available to participating students. Parents are also provided with family engagement support and the opportunity to have an advocate in their Resident Services Coordinator who will help them connect to their child’s school and teachers, ensuring a strong home school connection in support of the student learning outside of school.

Learning Connections Summer Kindergarten Readiness Program

This program will help our young students (ages 4 & 5) prepare for school in the fall. Your child will have the opportunity to participate in this unique program that combines learning and laughs. Children will focus on the readiness basics and classroom social skills.
